Newest Feature: Ratings & Reviews
Boopsie just launched newest addition to its mobile platform: Ratings & Reviews! Now your patrons can login and rate or review their favorite (or not so favorite) titles! This feature is currently live in a handful of libraries, including Charlotte Mecklenburg Library, Santa Clara County Libraries, and Sunnyvale Library and will be coming to your library soon. If you want to move your library to the front of the queue and add this feature to your app, contact us!
LexisNexis – Coming Soon!
Boopsie has partnered with legal research provider LexisNexis (division of Elsevier) to enable access to Lexis Advance and Online content via our apps! The content, including cases, statutes and regulations, will be displayed in a fully embedded reader. Students, lawyers, and law firm or corporate research staff, will be able to conduct more efficient research from any major device!
New Partnership Between Recorded Books & Comics Plus
Recorded Books and Comics Plus: Library Edition recently signed an exclusive deal, which added Comics Plus’ digital graphic novels and comics to their portfolio of digital subscriptions for libraries. Boopsie’s AccessILS platform provides a streamlined method for authentication, allowing patrons to easily access the content with their library credentials! This means more circ’s and less hassle for library staff!
Description & Detail View Updates – Coming Soon!
We’ll be launching updated views for our catalog search and book details pages this Summer. After a patron or student searches for a title in your catalog, the new results list will be greatly refined. Each title will feature an image of the cover (when available), and fewer details which allows your patrons to easily determine the title of the item and the format. After an item is selected from the search results, the new item details page provides only the basics – title, author, published year and a summary of the item. The place a hold button is more prominent, and if you’re looking for more information about the item, you can always choose the full details option.
Keep an eye out for these upcoming updates!
